“I have loved you with an everlasting love…” Jeremiah 31:3
The word “everlasting” means, eternal, forever, and undying. This means always! Can you grasp what is it like to know that God, who lives in you, loves you with a love that is undying? Close your eyes for just a moment and feel Him from the inside. Use your imagination and faith. Echo His words to you about His love. Let the words ring through the caverns of your heart and soul. He has always loved you and always will. This means when you have made mistakes. It means when you feel you have fallen short of what you should be or should have been. It means when your day is not as glorious as you would like it to be, or your mood is not all that great. He loves you when you are rising and when you are laying down to sleep. He loves you when you forget to love yourself and when you feel like others have forsaken you.
You see, there is NO limitations to His love. It is a standard that He has set for Himself for you!
Affirm: “Today, I will meditate on how much God loves me. I will know in my heart that there is nothing I could do or could have done to take that love for me. I will remember, no matter where I am on my journey, God is within me, walking right with me. He is not ahead, above or behind. He is right here, right now. ”
