When you commit to something, do it all the way
I’d like to print out a T-shirt that says, “Go ahead, TRY to distract me!” Then, of course, I’d like to be focused and not easily distracted from my task. I deeply admire the monks of Tibet. Can you imagine the dedication it takes to be a monk? The meditation. The solitude. The lifestyle without any of the modern things we often take for granted. What is it that they have that we often don’t? COMMITMENT! They have a stick to it like glue ‘tude that never stops.
Today, I challenge you to go back to something you were once passionate about and commit once again. That’s right! Get up and go for it one more time. But this time, don’t let yourself be distracted by other things that can wait or don’t matter. If you really want to make an impact, want results, want peace, want this or want that, you have to be committed and dedicated.
Affirm: I AM committed to completing the things I am passionate about. I WILL __________________ (fill in the blank)
