Last night, I was going through one of my mother’s old prayer books, handed down a few generations. I found many inserted items held within its pages, including a flattened rose or two! I thought this inserted item was especially nice for the upcoming Easter celebration! The card is from Unity Church of the Desert in Las Vegas, Nevada, sent to my grandmother, Louise (properly Louisa).
As I read it I could not help but be amazed that my grandmother received inspired messages that are Christed and metaphysical in nature. It goes to show how spiritually we are all connected, not to mention the timing of finding the cards. There are a few of them! The one at the left is also from Unity School of Christianity in Missouri, a school I considered at one time.
I don’t know why I am so surprised. I know the power of spiritual things through families and soul families. The message came at just the right time, and doesn’t it always? I love how this one ends, “I behold the Christ in you, I can see that perfect one; Led by God in all you do, I can see God’s work is done.” Since we are into holy week now, I am sending these words to you also! They are pretty much the same as Namaste; the Christ (or light) in me sees the Christ in you! The words are for you, whether you celebrate the upcoming Easter Sunday or not. It’s so strange how the transformation I have gone through was set into motion a long time ago!
