Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup natural peanut butter (or any nut butter of your choice)
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, cinnamon (if using), and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
- Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Form the Cookies: Using a tablespoon or your hands, scoop out the mixture and shape it into balls or cookie shapes. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill: Refrigerate the formed cookies for at least 30 minutes, or until they set.
- Serve: Enjoy your no bake, no flour, oatmeal dark chocolate chip cookies straight from the fridge! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Tips
- Experiment with add-ins like nuts, seeds, or dried fruit for extra flavor and texture.
- For a vegan option, ensure that you use maple syrup and dairy-free chocolate chips.
Enjoy your healthy treat!
