Heaven holds a place for you beside me,
Until then, I dream of the smile on your face.
You sit with angels who love and gently guide me,
Wrapped in the arms of heaven’s grace.
In whispers soft, your laughter lingers,
A melody that dances through the night.
Each star above, like tender fingers,
Reaches out, reminding me of your light.
Though shadows fall and time pulls me away,
In every heartbeat, your essence remains.
I find you there in twilight’s gentle sway,
A love that blossoms, though it cannot chain.
So until our souls unite in the skies,
I hold you close in dreams where spirits soar.
With every breath, I cherish our goodbyes,
For in my heart, you are forevermore.
Loving you from here,
Dr. Rev. Jenine Marie Howry
