Psalm 34:18-20, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him/her from them all; he protects all his/her bones, not one of them will be broken.
I believe God is close to those broken in their hearts and will repair the breach whichever way it may come. Our hearts are precious; when broken, God is close to us. In fact, God is more near than our breath. Sometimes, it feels like the pieces will never be put back together right, but God knows where all of those pieces are.
Weaping might endure for the moment, but joy always comes to those who grieve and to those who have a broken heart from others.
