Follow the river. The river knows where to go.
Think about being in the flow of a river. Going along with the river downstream the ride has one direction. It points to the open space of a vast sea. Traveling upstream, the ride is a lot harder. Going against current all the way is certainly not the way to get somewhere easily or faster. It makes sense to go with the flow. This does not mean there won’t be rocks along the way and sure does not mean the waters will be easy to navigate. It just means the right direction is where you are led to a more vast expansion of life and living.
Rivers gather together and meet in one place. Here they become bigger and more powerful. Think of this as the moments in life you join with others and your power together amps up the current. Rivers also divide into streams. Think of this as being the same as the moments you move off into more quiet places, cutting through the desert, and leading the life of a calm and trickling stream.
When rivers dump into the vastness of the ocean it is the place where mighty waters join together and become more powerful and expansive. Consider life becoming more vast in your understanding and movement. Oceans have depth, swelling waters, and contain the greater things within the depths.
Your life is like navigating the river. You can choose the easier way to the expanse of the ocean or you can choose to go upstream, fighting and struggling. Each way might lead to a vast body of water but going with the better flow of life will be easier by far. You will still navigate rocks and sharp stones along the way but eventually you will meet and join with other rivers, move off as a stream, and ultimately join the vast ocean of all possibilities.
Does this sound confusing? It really isn’t. Just don’t buck the system when life becomes unbearable. Moving upstream is not the way to get through. Go with the flow, take God’s wisdom, join wisdom with others and become mighty in the ocean of all possibilities.
Loving you from here,
