Sunsets are absolutely gorgeous! They spell the end of a day well lived even when it has not been the easiest day in your life. The colors are amazing if there is a clear sky and who can resist the breathtaking view of a sunset over the horizon of the ocean. Picture the ocean breeze, the smell of salty sea air, and someone you love standing next to you! I love the imagery of all of the above!
Over centuries the sun has provided multitudes of inspiration from ancient Egypt to the Israelites as they looked out from beyond the temple. The love of God, love of life, and love for others come to mind. There are so many things that are standard in God’s created universe!
