A little over a month ago, I found myself dealing with a really tough and painful case of TMJ. My jaw joint, neck, behind my ear, back of my head, all felt like it was in a tight vice grip. I tried just about everything so I went to the last resort. Yes, I went and got lidocaine injected into the trigger points around my face, jaw, and neck.
I thought I was going to have no more pain, which I don’t! The only thing is, I can’t move half of my face. I have no idea if it will all go back into place. I read it can take up to four months or even longer! I look kind of like someone let the air out of my face.
I don’t know how I do it! I just finished cancer treatment and now this. I was so looking forward to enjoying some fun time and just having a good time in life. I wanted to complete my next book, work on all the projects I had to let go of and take myself out to a fun dinner.
Let’s face it (pardon the pun there) life has highs and lows just like ocean waves. We go higher and then things can drop down to a low so very fast. Be ready! Don’t let it all catch you off guard or take your breath away. Just smile and enjoy the ride, or in my case right now, maybe a half smile!
Create some magic in life, celebrate your birthday every single day, and love yourself to the highest because others might not. We can’t guarantee others feelings for us or even their good wishes. We can guarantee our own and give ourselves the opportunity to attract more of the same as we put out for ourselves!
