When a Woman is Heard

In the quiet corners of her mind,
Where whispers of doubt and fear unwind,
A voice—a soft, resounding ray,
Breaks through the dark, guiding her way.

She carries the weight of unspoken stories,
A tapestry woven with threads of glories,
Yet heavy the heart when silence prevails,
In the echo of shadows, her spirit it quails.

But then comes the moment, serene and clear,
A listener’s presence, someone who’s near,
With open ears and an open heart,
They catch all the pieces that wish to depart.

Each word like a balm on a weathered soul,
A gentle embrace that makes her feel whole,
As she spills out her dreams, her sorrows, her fears,
The floodgates of healing wash over like tears.

For in being heard, she learns to believe,
That the weight of her heart is not hers to grieve,
Every sigh shared, like a note in a song,
Builds bridges of hope where she felt she belonged.

So let the voices rise like a melody sweet,
In sharing her journey, in admitting defeat,
Her heart, once imprisoned, now dances and sings,
For the scars that we carry can give rise to wings.

In the tapestry of life, each thread intertwined,
Narratives shared can forever bind,
For a woman, when heard, can truly start to soar,
In the warmth of connection, she heals evermore.

Loving you from here…..
