There is a place, a point, where life shifts so dramatically that it takes on a whole new view. It is the difference between seeing life at the surface level and suddenly seeing it from a high-rise. Isn’t it true that the view is so much more spacious from a higher vantage point? The high vantage point is what I am speaking of.
From the beautiful new view, the air is fresh, the images are smaller, but there is so much more to take in. It’s like the world opens up a view that’s never been seen or realized before. In this beautiful new space, it feels as though a part of the past is in the past, while the opening of a portal to the present and future is cast before us. The view is not only breathtaking but also breath-sustaining.
It’s so much easier to leave the past behind us when this gorgeous view of what is and what is ahead is right there! At this vantage point, we see it was waiting for us all along and marvel at how wondrous our dreams can be when we see them made manifest right in front of us. From this vantage point, we can see only a tiny version of the past, what is in front of us, and the beautiful image of what is ahead. We can see how the things of the past have led to the present and to the shift toward what is coming.
Right here and now, I am tempted to take in a huge deep breath and watch the eagles soar in the sky, the clouds blow by, and the rains gently begin to drop from the darker clouds. The rain is just as amazing as it always was, only from this higher view, it’s so much more meaningful. Every life has just a little rain that falls now and then, but when it comes from a higher view, we cease to look at it as “not such a great thing.” Rain becomes the substance of where all things can grow, evolve, and take root! Keeping a good attitude, we can ensure that all things that take root are what we truly desire. The rest of the past can just drift on by, because our use for them is now over…
Loving you from here,
