Some Memories Are Just Too Precious

11988378_10153670839814255_4027848974804248960_nBack in the 90’s I was a struggling mom with five children. I was married to someone who was not very supportive of our family and often was gone for long spurts of time. Faith is not even a strong enough word for what I needed to have.

My older son was about 12 years old when I sold Avon products for the first time. One season I purchased an entire case of Skin So Soft Spray and had planned to sell them all for a good profit. My youngest daughter was just a baby, not even walking as of yet. Sometimes the weather was just to hard to take her out in a stroller and then there were the other children.

My son Jayson (now in heaven) would go out into the neighborhood and not only take out my brochures for me but sell my Skin So Soft Spray to the neighborhood. That way I could stay with his brother and sisters at home while he helped bring in some food funds. Every not and then his friends would help him pass out my brochures and I paid them to be of service.

Jayson was a great worker and helper. He was always willing to put in some extra time to keep our family going when things were hard. Now, 18 years later, I am selling Avon products again to benefit my ministry for women who need healing from abuses and infidelity in relationships. I love that Avon places women in places of respect enough to have their own fundraisers for the causes of breast cancer and domestic violence.

It seemed so obvious that this business was and is a good fit for my ministry fund raising. I am now working toward my non profit status and then an office outside my home for women to come and be ministered to and counseled for the wounds that haunt them. Today I received my first delivery of my Avon business kit and the first thing I pulled out was the Skin So Soft Spray. It still smells the same and is basically the same price. The memories flooded my mind of my sweet son, now in heaven, and all the great ways he helped to support me in caring for the other children.

It’s only fitting that Avon be my go to place for raising funds for my ministry for God on behalf of women. If you would like to assist me in my ministry endeavor, or even support my blog writing, please consider an Avon purchase. Skin So Soft Spray is still at the amazing price of $6.99 per bottle and I also have a bundle of several products for only $19.99! A great value. Please see the photos! IMG_2999.JPG

You can call me and order at 832-484-8306 or you can just simply go to my website at https://youravon.com/jeninehowry and place an order. You will find an online brochure with the current sales and also the items I have pictures here in this post. I am working on a goal in the next week to obtain $150 in orders as an initial goal. I know I can get there with the support of those who enjoy my blog and also desire to help women recover from the abuses this life has brought to them. 20108548_1755207567840818_5834360564279427736_n

It is Alright for a Minister to Pursue Public Ministry or Not to: God is in Control, So Trust HIM

14208503182375381246We live in a very confusing time in the church, but looking back on church history in all honesty it always has been a bit confusing. There always seems to be an issue of who is right and who is wrong. We question who has the right doctrine or who is a heretic. Honestly, every man (or woman) is right in their own eyes, according to the scriptures. It does not mean we are right or wrong, it just means we always tend to believe we are in the right during controversy.

It’s ok to be right and it is ok to be right for who YOU are and for what YOUR calling is. We all have different callings but we belong to the same body. I read just recently an opinion about going public in ministry and that it is not a humble thing to do. Actually we should be grateful for public ministries. Apostle Paul had a very public ministry and wrote most of the New Testament. We owe a great deal of gratitude for his service. Not every one in public ministry is trying to be famous in their flesh. Sometimes God promotes people for a reason. If we do not go public with our faith and ministry then who will benefit from it? Not everyone is meant to do this but some truly are.

I personally had my born again experience as a result of a public television ministry and a call to Christ one night. That was almost 40 years ago! I thank God for those people every time God brings them back to mind. It really does no one any good to criticize another’s ministry or calling. What we really truly should do is to serve God as HE has called us personally and trust Him! He has it all under control. Even if there is a minister you disagree with God knows what is needed or not needed concerning that person. He has it all in His hands.

No added information is really needed. Trust HIM and live in peace among your brothers and sisters regardless to where their ministry is, either public, private, in a huge church congregation or in a home small group. It is all God’s work and Jesus will watch over His sheep!

Love one another and love as God has called you to love. We can’t lose with love. Give everyone the benefit of the doubt. No one knows what another has walked through and no one knows the conviction of another’s heart but God. Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding…” You don’t have all of the information to speak into a person’s life and calling. Leave that to God. He is good at what He does!

Are You Called Into Christian Ministry and for Ordination? (Free Bible Institute Online!)

Praying WomanAre you called into Christian ministry and service and desire free Bible Training and education plus ordination?

We are entering into one of the most exciting times in the church and the Christian faith with so many opportunities to become a part of the harvest for Christ! So many are called to minister the gospel for the salvation of souls but have no idea how to proceed with training and ordination. Every Christian is called to minister Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world, but some are called into leadership and into positions of influence.

If you are one of those who feel called to become ordained as a minister or into Pastoral ministry and would like training, you can receive it through Association of Clergy International and the Bible Training Institute! The classes are online and are FREE!

You also can apply for ordination  for a small fee depending on the level of ordination desired or needed. Click this link for more information on Association of Clergy International.   Or you can click the particular links above for information. Please review the Associations Statement of Faith before proceeding to make sure you agree with what has been stated.

Membership with Association of Clergy International is open to all clergy members and does not seek to replace any other organization you might already be a part of.

I especially encourage you if you are a woman called to minister the gospel! Women are an important part of God’s plan in the church and have not always been given an opportunity to serve in leadership roles! Please check this out if you feel this is for you!

Blessings in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
