In the past, I felt we all had to beg God for answers. I wondered why we would recite the same prayers repeatedly as if they had no power the first darned time? Now, in light of what I know about our God – created Universe and how it works its no wonder so many prayers seemed to go unanswered. It’s certainly thought-provoking, right?
Jesus never intended us to cling to His robe in person or in spirit. In fact, Jesus said we would do greater things than He, and believe me, it won’t be from holding onto Him for dear life, hoping one day He would respond. Repeating the same prayer actually cancels it all out. Let me show you how that happens. Our Universe was created to give us exactly what we send to it. No exceptions! So if what we send out is “want” or “need,” the Universe will give us more of the same. It is the principle of sowing and reaping. What we plant, we shall also reap. The harvest is always the same. Repeated prayer over and over sends a clear message that we don’t trust the Universe or God will answer at all. So what we receive back is the repeated answer in the form of a lack of faith, lack of understanding, lack of grace, and lack of a decisive answer.
I know this is a foreign concept to many. I don’t blame anyone for being confused because this is what we are taught; to beg God. We might not see it that way, but it is what it is. So, we get more to beg for in return. A positive affirmative is a powerful way to manifest anything. When we affirm something we are sure of it and it goes out into a standard Universe to return to us the same way we express it. It’s really quite a miracle! Instead of “God, please give me the answer to this prayer,” we send out the affirmation statement as though we have already received the answer because we have! Our affirmation sounds more like, “God, in the power of “I AM” I have gratitude to have received the answers I seek,” (or manifested desire. ) Then, leave it to the Universe. No need to beg. No need to continue to go over and over again. Nothing is ever returned to us void, but we must present ourselves to God’s Universe the correct way to get the desired answer. Why are we often so afraid to step into the power given to us and affirm that what God has established is the right way instead of how a group of people say we must always “do it.” Honestly, it makes no sense to me. Be assertive and step into the knowledge of grace and feel in your heart, know in your mind and walk in the power you have been given!
There are some other things to abide by, though. Make sure you don’t try to take something from another or do harm to another person. You can find yourself with many problems doing things this way. Consider a Universe that will give you back exactly what you extend out. Can you imagine the harm done back to you in the form of karma? Please don’t do this. Don’t feel you know what is best for anyone else, or you might get the lesson of a lifetime. Control will never get you anywhere but in a mess! Compassion is always a gift that continues to give. The good news in the whole mess is we are still all learning! We never ever stop the learning process. We will learn once we fall on our faces enough, believe me!
If you want powerful answers from God’s Universe, then send it powerful statements. Feel them, step into them, understand them. Do them for yourself. You are here to learn your own lessons. This does not negate compassionate prayer. Love in any form will be honored and returned to you. Pray in power, or you will get the Universal lesson of lack instead of abundance. Let me ask you.
