Even the shyest person is more transparent than they think. We pick up more about people than we realize. It is hard to conceal everything, although we often think we are. Our actions speak much louder than words. Also, we pick up on people’s subtle stories much more than we realize. We are transparent, just like clear tape. We think we hide the sticky parts, but honestly, we never hide a thing.
We are like radio waves that broadcast across the airway every moment. Those waves of energy have thought attached to them. Ever wonder how some people seem to be intuitive? Often, they are reading the cosmic waves that we all put out. Before you think this is way too strange to keep reading, think about it a bit more.
If we all emit energy from our bodies and we all attract energy toward us, then we also emit and attract all that goes with it, including thought. Thoughts create. They do this by sending out waves on a frequency that ends up attracting the same. In some cases, the frequencies attract a Karmic situation either to bless us or teach us.
I have said it before, and I will repeat it. Nothing is ever hidden. We send out our feelings and things we wish no one could know, out into the atmosphere daily. I giggle a bit when I think of the Bible verse, “Be sure your sin will find you out.” Everything finds you out. In other words, things are revealed from you and to you.
I like the idea of knowing things that most believe we do not know. We can be distracted sometimes and miss things but if we fine tune our awareness there is not much that can be hidden either by us or from us. More than that, nothing is hidden from God, our Creator, the Universe, or any way you choose to think about it.
Sometimes if things are not revealed our life situations will reveal them. We attract these things toward us by our actions. On one side of the spectrum I think this is very cool. On another side it can be disturbing. I used to know people who found out things by tapping the phone, or someone’s computer. Silly people! Look at life around you, foster your awareness, meditate and pray. You will discover we all can tap into the divine that is within us all!
Loving you from here,

If you have ever known me, or have been connected to me, you know how much I love my work. There is nothing more amazing to me than to be trusted enough to be allowed into another person’s heart and life. I count it an honor to be held in confidence. At times it has been to such a level, I have been told things that my clients have never revealed to another single soul.
There is nothing quite as satisfying to me than to know I have left a conversation and my client has had an “aha” moment, or has felt a great load being lifted from their shoulders. Yet, there have been those from time to time who have either come right out and told me I had not helped them at all. Or there have been those who have just quietly distanced themselves from me. In those cases I would get off the phone or go home feeling tied up in knots wondering what I could have done better. I took it hard and usually put all of the load on myself.
Comforting myself, I would reason that I am not perfect, and don’t know all of the answers. While this is true, there had been one piece of the puzzle I had not considered, “I can not assist anyone who does not love themselves enough to realize they need to make their own changes”. I can facilitate, but I can’t change anyone. Change comes from the inside out. One element that has to always be there is self love.
The amazing thing, is the most difficult clients revealed to me my own lack of self confidence and self love. Everyone is a mirror to us no matter what the role we play in one another’s lives. Literally, my rejecting clients expected me to fix them and I strained within myself thinking that it was my job.
Learning the lesson about fixing my own self, loving myself, and being confident within myself, has been a hard one. I’ve had to weed through all of the junk that led me to “people please” and allow others to judge me, or compromise my sense of self worth. Bottom line, we are all a work in progress. With my progression, I discovered it has been alright to walk away from those who dishonored me, because I could honor myself. It’s easier said than done.
This is the reality; no one changes without having to do the work and without finding self love first. Without self love we only live in the reflection of those who want us to conform to their image. I take a deep breath and relax when I remember that the only image I need to conform to is God’s. Even then, it is not God outside of me but God who is a part of my being. The power of love is in our own DNA. I had to get a grasp of this completely, or I would always feel like I would fall short.
It’s work, but when done right everything shifts in the right direction. People leave because they become insulted, irritated, or offended. I’ve learned to let them go. The payoff is others will appear. It’s like a miracle of life. Those that appear are the ones who are ready for what I have to offer and always give me the gift of appreciation in return.
This is the pleasure of life. Walking in the Light of love is always the greatest feeling in the world. Sometimes I forget, like I suddenly have some sort of amnesia. Spirit always draws me back to where I need to be. Sometimes this happens with a struggle but when I turn to the greatest love ever, I always remember.
So, with all of this said; the greatest work I have ever achieved was to love myself the way God does. When this happens everything falls into place. Resistance never allows miracles to happen. Self doubt and struggle will never bring balance or miracles. Yes, my clients have taught me the road to least resistance. The responsibility has always been their own. Mine is to be there, to listen, to interject wisdom when wisdom comes, and to smile at the end of the day.
A job well done always comes with a life well loved.
If you have been following along with my blog posts lately you might have discovered my “love” series is taken from the attributes of love described in the bible in the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 13. Isn’t it nice that we have a guideline? I kind of skipped to this one because it stood out for me today as something we all should pay attention to in this world. We pretty much have a mixed bag of nuts here on earth, and I say that respectfully! What I mean, is there is a huge combination between evil and truth. Maybe it just seems that way because technology allows us to know more than we used to. Or evil seems to be getting more prevalent. A lot of the minor negative issues in our world today have more to do with impatience and lies. Then there are the real evil issues like bombings, murders and war.
What I am going to address are inner characteristics that have to do with God’s love and what it means to embody it. As you might have discovered by now, especially if you have been reading my posts, it is a powerful thing to carry. God’s love is so powerful, I believe it heals. I’m sure the purest of love was in Jesus as He walked this earth and healed so many. Someone who does not delight in evil is someone who always wants the best for themselves and others. This means even our perceived enemies or those who have done us wrong. Embodying real love and truth means we always want the best for people no matter what. As you might perceive, this takes humility and forgiveness. Again, as I always emphasize, neither of these means we tolerate bad behavior. It just means their behavior does not cause us to want them to be harmed in any way. We might feel that way in the beginning but real love will act as a covering.
In the story of Adam and Eve, God covered their “nakedness” in the garden after they disobeyed Him and lied about it. God saw through this because the Spirit of God is all knowing. Their nakedness symbolizes this exposure. Yet, God is pure love and can not hate. Within His forgiveness He covered them. In the story it was a literal covering of their body, but symbolically it is a protection from harm and an example of true God-love. They received discipline. True love always disciplines as well. We can not think we will do harm and then expect to not have it come back upon us, but God’s grace always protects and covers us when we go to the temple of humility and truth. Grace and forgiveness are powerful healers but they are always balanced with discipline and consequences. This is a part of our God created universe of law and balance.
When the truth wins out, we are walking in divine love and honesty. This means being honest with ourselves as much as with others. Actually, we have to be honest with ourselves first before we can be honest with others. Either way, we have God in our temple inside and everything is exposed anyway. Often, like Adam and Eve, we trick ourselves into believing if no one knows or finds out then a lie does not exist or we will escape the full discipline for our hidden actions. Not true. How can we hide anything from God who lives in us? There is a Scripture in the bible that says, “be sure your sin will find you out.” This means you will be exposed by the pure standard that is set up by the love of God. It is not that God wants you to “be in trouble” but to expose you so you will be disciplined, humbled, and covered. God wants healing and pure love and truth. True love always rejoices when the truth wins out.
It might not seem fair to not be able to hide in our mistakes and lies but actually the most loving thing in the world is to be exposed. How can we ever learn the power of true love if there is no discipline for our actions. So we can therefore rejoice when the truth wins out! Whether is it for ourselves or others, to see discipline within the truth is to see true love in action. It is a powerful cleansing and the beginning of walking in more of the Light of Life. A lie will bring spiritual death. The truth will bring life. Jesus was a huge advocate of the truth. As God has explained, it sets us free. This is the same whether it is truth, the opposite of a lie, or divine higher truth about our spiritual existence. A lie will fragment us but the truth will make us whole. A lie separates us, but the truth will delight in our unity.
So, you see, to not delight in evil on any level actually heals. We should desire evil to be exposed and to expose it when we are able. When we do this we are acting in true love. The Light always wants to shine to expose darkness. In that way there is more Light and more truth.
I remember when I was a child I lied to my mother about a very insignificant thing. Boy was she angry! I wondered why she got upset over something so small. I even wondered why I lied about something so small. Anyway, I was banished from my favorite television program and sent to my room with the door closed. She never came in to check on me even when she heard me crying. That was a very dark night for me as a little girl but very significant. I had to face my lie. Yes, I had tried to cover it up first, but it was exposed, and very quickly. I was not very happy about that at the moment but I had to face the consequences of my actions. It might seem very insignificant considering the issues we face in this world today but the lesson is the same. We can not hide from the light of truth. It always seeks out to expose us, teach us, humble us, heal us, and grow us up. I told my mother the truth after that, even when it was hard. It often was hard, but I found she was easier on me when I was honest than when I thought I got away with something.
I know it might seem like a childish lesson but in all honesty, had she not exposed it, I might have grown to be a less honest person. We bonded closer after that. The truth always wins out, wants the best for all of us, and is the highest form of love there is. It’s God love and the lesson I learned helped me to also expose evil and lies much easier and stronger since I understand it’s the right thing to do. It’s a loving thing to do. Sometimes it makes people very angry but exposure is still a very loving thing to do.
So, please, understand to not delight in evil. Don’t wish harm on anyone no matter what they have done. Expose the lies you know of, especially if they are your own, and allow the truth to win out. That way we can all rejoice in the truth whether it is human truth or higher spiritual truth. Exposure and discipline will give us both of them.
Every single day we are all bombarded with decisions. Sometimes we don’t even notice what they are. Our autopilot just kicks in and there we go, making new decisions every moment of every day. Even deeper we are faced with choices and loom up in front of us and then we find ourselves in a place where we need to decide. What you choose might be depending upon what leads you. Or, I should say, what part of you leads you. We all have that inner God part of us, that yearns to lead and then of course there is the rational part of us that always wants to contradict. We know what we might rationally want to choose but our hearts seems to beat to another drum. Ever experience this?
Depending on how you are led, your choices might be very different. Like I said, our hearts and our heads contradict. God choices and ego choices are almost at odds all of the time. So, what do you choose and what guides you? In order to determine what is going on in the choice department I like what I call the meditative or creative pause. This might sound kind of impressive, at least I think it does! Actually, it is just like the moment before creation. There is a pause. Right at the moment before choice we are standing at the doorway of the void. This is where God spoke everything into existence. First there was no form and there was the “void”. It sounds a bit esoteric but the void is simply a place where there is nothing and is just a hiccup before something is created. Before that creation there is a pause, a thought, and a choice.
So, how do you choose? While you are in the void, do you ask yourself what the heart or God decision would be instead of the ego decision? They can be polar opposites and usually are. I wonder how this world would have been created if God would have been filled with ego instead of love-spirit? I shutter to even think, lol. Thought provoking. I will leave you with your thoughts.
I’ve always liked the word “integrity”. I like the meaning even more. The word integrity is defined as “the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles, moral uprightness.” In my world inner integrity is one of the most important things a person can consider. It means being honest with ourselves and standing strong on the principles we deeply believe in and strive to adhere to. We might fall short a time or maybe two, but integrity as a compass will always drive us to the most honest outer experience we could have.
In a world where we deal with an element of “fakehood” every single day, integrity is a treasure both inside and outside of ourselves. Back in my earliest spirituality days my biggest prayer was always to be my true self and honest about who that is. When I fall short of myself, I know I have nowhere to look accept myself. The best part of this reality is no one else can determine who or what I should be. No one else can determine my moral compass or how I react, act, or deal with my outer world. There can be plenty of opinions of what I might be or not be, but bottom line, my full identity belongs to myself and God. Only the great Universal and most loving spiritual force inside and out can ever truly have the highest opinion of who and whose I am.
Other opinions are just plain irrelevant. Who else but God can see the inner-most working of my heart? I always loved the guiding words, “If I should wake and find myself sitting in darkness, it will be my God who will shine the Light and guide me through.” What or who else could ever be my true compass? The miracle is, if God is my only true compass then no one else is qualified to completely guide me anywhere. God inside of me can guide me and qualify me. When I fall short, Grace will qualify me. When I forget my compass Forgiveness will qualify me. When I make willful mistakes then Discipline will also qualify me. When I am lost and alone then Love will qualify me.
This way, no one else can determine my rightness or wrongness. God and I determine this. Lofty thoughts, I know. Sometimes lofty thoughts are needed. Sometimes they are life savers in the making. After all, our thoughts create and guide. Since this is true then lofty thoughts will guide to higher places. I’d rather be there than any inner low place of less integrity.
Life is precious; created for us and also by us. Time is irrelevant, really, but linear time is not something to waste on what is less than what any of us deserve in life. Inner integrity tells us what we do or don’t deserve. I’m thinking I deserve the best and I am sticking with that thought. I know it will drive me to the best. It can’t help it, because, remember, our thoughts create.
Keep this in mind as your week unfolds. That which you resist will become bigger and will continue. I know, I know! It does not seem fair. Yet, it is truth. For instance, if you continue to resist an emotional feeling that creates a lot of sadness within you, your focus will be on that feeling and you will get more of it. We tend to get what we focus on, so resisting is a form of focus upon that which we do not want. Ironically this is how we get more of it. UGH. It could become a never ending circle. So how do you get out of this?
Well, I am glad you are curious! I am too. This is why I love meditation so much. Meditation is not always about clearing one’s mind, but accepting and allowing thoughts to run through the mind and just act like the observer. In this type of mindful meditation we trust and allow the thoughts and feelings to just “be” with no response to them. If we respond, you got it, we get more of the same!
This principle works with EVERYTHING. I believe it was Carl Jung who originally came up with “what we resist persists”. He had a longer version but I think this says it all. So how do you deal with negative thoughts, emotions, ideas, and experiences? You walk through them, trust yourself, trust God, and allow them to come to you. You might find yourself acting upon some of what is occurring but as long as you do not resist or try to push it away, you can find your way to a resolution.
Sound confusing? It really isn’t. Try this. Close your eyes and just breathe. Focus on the breath for a moment and allow your thoughts to just come to you. Don’t resist anything negative, just observe it. If it brings a feeling of sadness, ask God at the moment how that sadness can be resolved within you. The answer will come. It might not come at that moment but it will come. Watch and see! Solutions and growth are what we are all about, not trying to avoid what we don’t want. Growth never comes from avoidance or resistance. Think of your negative experiences and thoughts as a boomerang that never ends unless you resolve to catch it and deal with it.
If you want to build physical muscle you use resistance. Remember this. A muscle gets stronger when you resist it and situations become bigger and stronger when you resist them. Good and bad. This is why unfulfilled attraction always seems the strongest; because we feel forced to resist it. If we let it go and just observe it then it loses its power to control our emotions. I believe many a marriage can be saved, and become stronger, by knowing this. The grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence because we feel we must “resist temptation”. That resistance only makes us want more of what we should not have. It’s really quite controlling. Don’t allow yourself to be fooled and controlled! Overcoming this type of resistance only makes us stronger in our conviction to maintain fidelity.
This week, deal with something difficult in your life. Don’t avoid it, don’t resist it, deal with it. There is a solution to every issue in life. Seriously, there is.
It is so true that we become like the people we hang around with or talk to. I have watched people transform in the wrong directions just talking to new people who bring out the worst in them instead of the best. This is absolute truth. If the words of your friends, connections, and others, are not edifying, you will become just like them. Ditch them!
Seriously! What you put out there is what you manifest in your life. What you listen to and engage in regarding conversation is what will also guide your life. Marriages are broken, families are separated, reputations are lost, and lifestyles go down the drain through bad connections.
Remember God’s words about hanging out with a gossip. DON’T DO IT! Everything they say to you and everything you say to them will become like a radio broadcast. Before you know it you have no idea why others start to avoid you. You stop getting promotions, people won’t like you, and you will wonder why. Watch your words. If they are changing and you are becoming more bold with things that are less than pure, you are talking to the WRONG people in your life.
You will then watch God and His created Universe only support and send dirty things into your life that will keep you from His best. Do you want this? Here is a suggestion.
Make a list of all of those you connect with on a regular basis and think about how interacting with them affects your life. Do they bring blessing or do they bring division between you and God’s blessings? If you listen and talk with a dirty talker then you will be pegged as one as well. Not only that, you will BECOME one.
Look toward those who have good hearts and pure minds. They are those who will be supportive when things are hard. There are a lot of good people and good choices to make out there. Make the good ones and watch your life be blessed and cared for!
**Talk to someone you can trust and will hold your confidence. These are those who you can let everything hang out and they are accepting, non judgmental, and support you no matter what. Stick with friends who will compassionately listen, laugh with you, and hope the best for you no matter what you have to share with them.
Ever have a nudge inside of your gut that says, “Do NOT go there?” Or maybe it was something else, like something that might be very successful and you just “knew” it would work. Of course God guides us but He also gave us intuition that has been instilled in us for a purpose.
Do you want to know how to cultivate this amazing gift you naturally have and make it more profound? I know I sure wanted to. Of course, I am the curious type. I love to share this information so this video is about 45 minutes or so long. There was just so much to say, you know?
So, get some popcorn or some coffee or both and settle in for this teaching. Your gut feeling will thank you!
I was watching an episode of one of my favorite programs when one of the characters went into a speech about how people love to see others get sick, have financial issues, or even worse, announce they have a terminal illness. I thought to myself, “Why is it that some people love to see others not do well?” Does it come from a deep seeded need to be “better” than others? Or maybe just to feel like we are better than others? I’m sure this does not apply to everyone but it should make us want to think or consider what we put out there in the spiritual realm. Let me tell you why.
You see, we are like radio broadcasters in this universe. Our thoughts, comments, and actions are very seen and the energy they contain is also kind of recorded, if that makes sense. Basically, God hears, sees, and knows all. How could He not, He lives in us? At any rate, God did create a Universe that is standard and does not change. There is a Universal Law called the Law of Reaping and Sowing. It’s pretty self explanatory, we get back what we put out there. The major element about this is that it never ever fails. Like I said, the Universal Laws created by God are standard.
Can you grasp that your thoughts have matter to them? They create. This is why we are supposed to be renewing our minds; at least one of the reasons. What we think concerning others will come back to us just the same. What we say concerning others will also come back to us. It only makes sense that what we also do to others will come back upon us. Do we really want to wish ill will upon anyone in light of this information? I would hope not, especially since we are supposed to be loving one another. If we apply this to the Universal Law of Reaping and Sowing when we love, then love is returned. It might not come from the same person but it will come to us from wherever fate allows it to and it will not fail. It can’t.
So, let’s take a deep breath here and examine the meditations of our hearts. It was King David in the Bible who asked God to examine his heart meditations and wanted Him to find them to be pleasing. I’m sure he knew that his heart meditations will also create actions that create what his life would be like.
There is a huge reason why I really want to teach you this law more than any other. Not long ago someone wished me harm in writing. UGH. I felt like holding my breath. Not only did it hurt my feelings but there is a God part of me that truly knows the Universal Law will give that person a slap in the behind one day that will not be pleasant. Remember, it WILL NOT FAIL. Only the grace of God upon us, our asking forgiveness, and canceling out our actions will ever change what will eventually happen if we don’t take those actions. God’s grace is a power and a gift, but it will not take away lessons learned that are standard and created by God Himself accept by His grace.
For Heaven’s sake, don’t let pride keep you from correcting a huge mistake! You have time. God gives us grace, although I have seen reaping happen very suddenly as well. If it is not good reaping then we really end up regretting what we have sown. Please don’t live with regrets. Examine your heart, your speech, and your actions. Do you want your life to change for the better? Would you like to have more God love inside of you instead of wishing others ill will?
Meditate on this:
“God, help me to catch myself when the meditations of my heart do not align with Your divine love. Remind me to be humble, to drop my pride, and to ask forgiveness when I do harm. Bless my enemies and allow my life to be blessed as well. Bless humanity with the knowledge of the Universal Law of Reaping and Sowing. Let me be a peace maker and love creator in this world.”
I wish for you the very best in life and also to learn how to bring that about for yourself. I know you can do this!
Recently, I found myself becoming very frustrated with others “teachings”. It seemed like no matter what I did it was WRONG in someone’s eyes. Bottom line, I know by now to do what I feel God says is right for me but the question of so many conflicted communications haunted me continually. I asked God, “How do we become as One with one another and also One with You if we have so many conflicting ideas?”
The question perplexed me because there hardly seemed to be a way to even come to a happy medium on the subject. I found myself entrapped in so many “don’ts”. Don’t wear this. Don’t say that. Don’t pray this way. Don’t preach as a woman. Don’t this and don’t that. I found myself in sorrow because it caused me to feel that there was no place I could possibly belong with so many RULES and don’ts.
It was not until I sought God for the answer alone did I truly find my answer in this question. “Are we, as the children of God, transforming ourselves in the image of our Creator or are we attempting to transform one another into each other’s image?” It was harsh to read when I came to the teaching on self righteousness in my doctoral course in spiritual psychology. Basically, this is what it is when God’s children try to change one another into their own image instead of reflecting God’s.
There is only one way to become ONE as Jesus had prayed to the Father. That is to SEE ourselves as ONE. When we judge, criticize, or scrutinize one another we are actually doing it to ourselves. We are all a part of the ONE that Jesus prayed for. We are in conflict. We misunderstand. If we want to reflect the One that Jesus was speaking of then the rules have to go out the window.
Our goal is to transform by the renewing or our minds. This means every part of our own minds. It is about our conscious mind and our subconscious mind. If we don’t, then our subconscious mind will take over and do the driving. Our personal and individual commitment with God is to actively pursue that transformation, not to tell others how they should transform.
We can act as a guide to one another but forcing our views on each other only side steps God. Do we really want to do this? God sees us as One with each other and One with Him. This is the TRUTH. We are the ones who separate ourselves out of our self righteous need to be the one who knows it all. In honesty, we don’t know it all. We know in part. This is what God has said. This is me quoting God, not an idea I brewed myself.
I wonder what would happen if we took the judgement, the rules, the criticism, and the pointing of fingers out of the equation and just saw that we are One as God has made us to be. We are each a unique facet of a beautiful diamond called the people of God. We shine with brilliance in God’s sight. Why can’t we shine with brilliance when we look at one another? Do we have to become so uncomfortable that we are forced to change our view of how we are One? I mean, we can either do things the easy way or the hard way. Its our choice.
