I’ve never seen so much confusion regarding karma these days. Let’s take a look at the highest way of living and creating the karma you DESIRE in your life. Where should your focus be? Creating good karma assists you in creating a blessed life! Many believe they are justified in taking karma into their own hands. After all, someone hurt them or someone they know, and they deserve retribution, right? They might deserve what is coming to them, but YOU should not be the one to determine another person’s punishment, karma, or life path. If you had that kind of power, you would be running the universe, right? Actually, you have the power to make someone else’s life miserable if you really choose to, but should you choose to do that? Not if you want good karma and not if you would much rather not entice the universe to slap you back what you put out there.
Jesus taught us to not return evil for evil. Why did He teach this lesson? Let me give you a hint. The wheel of karma will never stop turning on you if you continue to return someone’s evil back at them. Karma will continue to come back at you badly until you change how you handle yourself. Remember, what you put out there will always return to you as a lesson or a blessing. Actually, even the blessing is a lesson. When Jesus stood before the Roman soldiers, ready to arrest Him, one of His disciples cut off the ear of a soldier. Jesus immediately put the ear back on the soldier and healed it. Why? The soldier was going to arrest Jesus. One; Jesus had too much respect for what human law represented in those days, although it was misguided. The other reason is also KARMA, which is also a universal law. Through healing and undoing his disciple’s actions, he kept his disciple safe from karmic retribution. His disciple was incapable of that type of healing, so Jesus, the Master He is, healed it for him. Generally, a person’s karma is their very own. In the spirit of teaching, I accept Jesus’ example. Do not inflict harm on someone simply because you do not like what is happening before you. Jesus is quite the teacher, isn’t He?
So, how do you bring good Karma to yourself when faced with someone who has wronged you? The only way to keep the negative wheel from slapping back at you is to “do unto others what you would have them do unto you.” (Biblical Reference). This means to create good things for others, be charitable, loving, understanding even when you don’t understand, and give kindness to them anyway! This does not mean accepting wrongdoing in your life and staying in the lives of those who harm you. It means trusting the law of karma and continuing to do good things in this world as you allow another person’s karma to take care of them. Another person’s life journey is none of your business! Do you want to read that last line again?
The amazing thing about karma is it does not necessarily come back into your life through the same means it was sent out. You might be giving toward someone and find gifts from heavenly realms coming back to bless you! If you do harm to someone, the same person might not be the one who delivers your karmic message back. So be awake and aware here! Keep your heart within pure motives and do the right things out in the world. If you know someone has done something harmful to your life, bless them. We are created to love our enemies in that way. Love them in spirit, with energy, with blessing them, and honestly desiring good things for them. You will never gain good things in life or your own blessing by acting as the universal deliverer of other people’s karma. Select the character that is best for your own heart and lifepath. Select the character that blesses your own heart by being a catalyst of all that is good in the world. This is ascension living my friend!
