Staying away from those who cause chaos in life is not a lack of love, it is a presence of wisdom.

For some reason we are often under the impression that we have to put up with others junk for the sake of love. Love also carries wisdom. There are times we need to walk away from those who disagree, cause turmoil, or don’t carry our same values and morals. This does not mean we don’t love as God would want us to love, it means we are wise enough to recognize that to have them in our lives causes too much unbalance, lack of peace, torment to ourselves, and life becomes unproductive.

Not everyone will agree with one another. The Bible says when “two disagree they can not walk together.” This is not a statement of a lack of love but the presence of wisdom. It’s amazing how many people from the past pop up when they perceive we are doing well. Don’t be fooled. People change, but they don’t dramatically change from who they were before. Love yourself enough to discern who belongs in your inner circle and who does not. Like attracts like. Attract the best for your own life by allowing those who are most like you to draw near and others to fall away. We all are a part of the same humanity. You might have to deal with their sense of rejection, but it’s better than compromising your integrity.

Here Is Your Weekly Wisdom! Commitment

When you commit to something, do it all the way

I’d like to print out a T-shirt that says, “Go ahead, TRY to distract me!” Then, of course, I’d like to be focused and not easily distracted from my task. I deeply admire the monks of Tibet. Can you imagine the dedication it takes to be a monk? The meditation. The solitude. The lifestyle without any of the modern things we often take for granted. What is it that they have that we often don’t? COMMITMENT! They have a stick to it like glue ‘tude that never stops.

Today, I challenge you to go back to something you were once passionate about and commit once again. That’s right! Get up and go for it one more time. But this time, don’t let yourself be distracted by other things that can wait or don’t matter. If you really want to make an impact, want results, want peace, want this or want that, you have to be committed and dedicated.

Affirm: I AM committed to completing the things I am passionate about. I WILL __________________ (fill in the blank)

Keep your eyes, and mind, on what matters and what is happening now.

I never felt such a release as the day I was advised that the past no longer even exists accept only in my head. It’s so true! Its a non existent element of our life experience that we hold inside of our brains, and the effect of  emotions we hold in our souls/bodies. Think of this also: The future has not even been created yet. All you really have is NOW. A second a go is already the past and one second from now is already the future! NOW is what is real and what matters the most.

Close your eyes and release the issues that hold you stuck to a non existing past. Yes, it has affected you, and you will have to process what you have held onto. Once you do process it, then let it go for good. Just take the wisdom you gleaned from it and remember it no more. Of course look back at wonderful memories. Those are the things that give you and upload of Oxytocin in the brain that will cause you to feel good.

Don’t worry about what is about to happen. Plan for it, yes, but don’t worry. It’s fruitless to be concerned over something that has not even happened yet. Remember, the best is always yet to be. If you keep that in your mind to a heart level, then every experience will be the very best!

You are not abandoned!

Sometimes it feels like there is no one listening to our hearts within the silence of a life going through transition. It can be lonely, hard, confusing, and sometimes chaotic. Almost every time we go through transition we feel a sense of abandonment. This is usually because our lives are shifting from one season to another. Some people can not be a part of the life we are destined to. Don’t fret when people want to leave. Let them! They can not go where you are going and will not stay or understand. Just open your hands and let them flow out of your life. If they are meant to be there, they will come back at another time.

Find a place of balance

Anything in excess, even the good things, are not a good idea if done out of balance. Life has an ebb and flow, just like the ocean, and balance like all things in nature. Birds know exactly when to fly south and exactly when to come back. If they stay too long where they go it disrupts the balance of nature. In the same respect, too much time spent on one thing in life deprives you and others of other special moments or things that must be done. Remember moderation when gifting yourself with a shopping spree, a special treat, or alone time. Even excess focus on God takes you too much out of the world and you will miss the reason you are here! Just know you take God with you everywhere you go.

You play an intricate part in the flow of life and all of life depends on you playing it well. Choose well, my dear, and all will be right with the world.

“When your eye is filled with light, your whole body is filled with light as well.” Jesus

Today, take in the Light of Life. Whatever is good, pure, joy filled, and love filled, suck it in like you have a straw from heaven. Your wholeness and health depend on what you take in . So make sure whatever you seek and look at in life is Light filled. Depression, sadness, and illness, can not live in any place filled with light. This includes seeing the best in those around you, in situations you encounter, and feeding your soul the best in spiritual food. Your health depends on it and you will be a lantern for others to follow.

“It’s alright to change your mind”

One thing you can always be sure of in life is change. It either happens by design or just happens. A good friend of mine used to say “Shift happens, roll with it“. I’m not so sure I want to roll with just anything; know what I’m saying? I like to live by design, which means sometimes I start out in one direction and then I change my mind if that is not working for me. It’s all about navigation. I’m giving you permission to change your mind if something is not suiting you.  Remember to consider your change carefully but once you make the decision, do it with everything you have!

This coming year start a personal change campaign! Clear out the clutter and start everything fresh, new, and shiny! Let go of yesterday’s spiritual energy and begin to water what you want to see in 2019. Remember, whatever you water grows and whatever to do not water will wither and die. It’s nature’s way. God gave you gifts and abilities for a reason, so water them and use them!

Happy New Year,

The Power of Blessing

Your words speak action into your life, but they also speak into others lives. Through God, we have the power to bless or curse. Blessing those we love with our words is the greatest gift anyone could give them. They don’t have to be long sentences. You only need short ones to bless someone.

“I bless your coming in and going out”

“I bless your life and all of your family”

“I bless your finances, that they be multiplied 100 fold”

This holiday season consider giving words of life. Bless you is not just for a sneeze! Bless others with your words of love and encouragement. Even strangers need your blessing. After all, we are not as estranged from one another as we often feel we are. We are a part of one great family! When you bless others, you bless yourself and the rest of the world as well. Be a world changer with words of blessing every day!

“Today, I will bless those I come in contact with using my words. My words are powerful and they speak life into those I encounter. I will bless my family with words of love and encouragement, appreciation, and compassion. Let all the world be blessed in every facet of life!”

May you be blessed with an abundance of love and great joy this holiday season!

Seize the day or it will seize you!

Today, put your best foot forward and make things happen the way you desire them to unfold. Leaving things to just flow out of control creates chaos. God is a God of order. You can order your day the way you desire. Of course there will always be elements that are out of your control, but ease into them and remember difficult things could come. Be prepared to address every single bend and turn in the journey. Set your intention for the brightest day ever and that is what you will have !

You know what is right for yourself.

The words that God speaks are written upon your heart through Holy Spirit. God lives and dwells inside of you. Because of this you know what is right for yourself and what is not. Keep in mind others might not agree what is right for your life. That’s alright. No one has to agree with you, but they should respect your choice for yourself.

You know best what God has written in your love and life story. It is private, personal, and perfected by God. No one can take it from you unless you allow them to. You know what is right for yourself today. Hold onto whatever that is and give thanks. Being diligent and true to yourself, and God, has great rewards!
