People Marveled at Jesus’ Ability to “Know”. Do You Want to Experience Mystical Things?

“Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” John 4:29

The biblical account of the Samaritan woman was only one example of how people in Jesus’ day were absolutely amazed by His ability to know things. Throngs of people followed after Him just to see what He would do next. Would He heal the blind or deliver someone from demonic oppression? People have not changed much over the centuries. We love the mystical and to witness the ability to know things. The church is mystical and people are mystical. If this is true, then why are we so hesitant when the mystical appears, and so quick to judge the experience?

I agree, we need a sense of discernment when it comes to mystical experiences. Yet, often I feel that there is a sense of pushing away that which is a sign from God because our discernment is out to lunch. God is mystical and mysterious. The bible tells us that even Holy Spirit will lead us into all mysteries. Is that exciting or what? Take someone like me, who loves to investigate a good mystery and my heart is fascinated and intrigued.

We might want to remind ourselves that not everything mystical is the occult. God reveals Himself through us using mystical means. It just means it’s a mystery as to how He does it. There are some things we just don’t see while we still have skin on. Our humanness tends to want to block the treasure of what and Who we carry.

Would you like to see the mystical in your life? Then ask God! God’s word tells us “we have not because we ask not.” God wants us to ask, to desire and see things as He does. Also, what we focus upon is what tends to manifest in our lives. If we focus upon seeing mystical revelations then that is what we will receive. Isn’t that amazing? It does work, and it works every single time! Why not give it a try? What do you have to lose, accept maybe a little skepticism. Your faith will thank you!

Power Prayers

11988378_10153670839814255_4027848974804248960_nLooking back I think the most wonderful thing I have ever experienced has had to be powerful prayer with those who share the same faith. Power prayers give a lot of hope, and draw us near to Holy Spirit and Jesus! I always had been in awe of those who could just start praying and Holy Spirit would take over. The prayers became intense, touching, fulfilling, life changing, and often prophesy. Our prayer lives can actually help drive our lives. The right prayers can feed Godly intent and information into our minds, touch our hearts, and set us into the right direction. Power prayers can drive out the enemy and cut us loose from bondage, remove the wrong people from our lives, and set us free in ways nothing else can. Jesus is a powerful prayer partner and His promise is to be in our midst whenever we join together to pray!

I have began a stream of power prayers and one of the first ones is posted onto my website. I hope you will enjoy the prayer and that it will ignite in you the powerful guidance of Holy Spirit!

BLESS the Waiting…God is FAITHFUL!

72e9e9e56ad45df4432b96f328f8ba36It might seem like things are taking a very long time, but it has been my witness, when God has someone wait, there is something AMAZING in store! So, keep your patience and your diligence, because there is something AMAZING in store for you if you stay faithful, prayerful, and PRAISE HIM! You might feel like a sardine, all stuffed up inside of yourself just wiggling around in the oil, BUT GOD is perfecting you in His anointing and that oil will spill out on everyone you touch at His most PERFECT TIMING! So , in the mean time…..PRAISE HIM and wait in His oil because it will be so worth it. You will see!

The Lord will pour out His Spirit on ALL flesh! That is HIS promise! Be ready to receive Him because He will NOT fail you! If you are sick in your body, if your heart is aching, if you are stuck in a bad situation, PRAISE HIM because He is faithful to heal, to bind up your wounds, and deliver you from any situation. You have a God of love, but you also have a GOD of POWER and He will never forsake you.

So, you made a mistake? PRAISE HIM! Let Him fill you to overflowing. Holy Spirit Come! He has a fire for you that will never go out. When others forsake you. When financial woes plague you. He will uplift you, because His ways are higher than all of these things. He is a God of refuge and strength. Proclaim all that He is and you will come to know Him in that way!

Are You an Empty Vessel?

bear-canyon-falls-1I remember one particular church service I attended where everyone was asked to go and stand in front of a large picture that had the most meaning for us. One that I aspired to at the moment was a painting of a large waterfall splashing down into a lake. It was symbolic of Holy Spirit pouring into a “body”. In this case it was a body of water but symbolically a person.

I remember asking God, and myself, why I felt so drawn to that particular image. It wasn’t hard to come up with the answer for myself. I had been poured out and I needed to be refilled so desperately. I remember putting both my hands up onto that image and planting my forehead against it. To the background sound of music playing “How Great is Our God”, I deeply asked God what it was that I needed, because I really did not know.

As I closed  my eyes, I pointed my head upward and could feel the tears beginning to roll down my face. I knew I was spent. Every last drop of God inside of me felt like it was given out and for some reason my reserve just was not being refilled. I was doing all of the things I knew to do. I prayed in the Spirit, worshiped to great music, read the word of God, and asked God to be refilled. Nothing was changing though. It was like I had hit a brick wall.

Here was my issue. I was giving out faster than I was even taking in and my spiritual recharge just was not happening. God was calling me to a time to let Him fill my vessel while just being in His rest. I was entering into a season of not pouring out to anyone and it felt unsettling. After all, isn’t that what we are supposed to do?

The church service was beginning to disburse and I just sat down right there on the floor cross legged in front of that image with tears moving faster than I could catch them. I realized that day that I had given out so much to everyone else around me that I was not taking in anything for myself. My vessel was continually running on empty. I thought to myself, “I should be roaring, like a spirit filled lion spouting off like a fountain, moving in the Spirit, and spilling out in all directions.” That was not the case though. I was more like a sputtering vehicle whose gas tank was running on nothing but fumes.

I wish I could say that God spoke profoundly and gave me a word to hang onto but that was not the case really. If God gives me a word, He knows I will go off and share it, spew it out, and make it useful to someone. The reality was; He wanted to just fill me, give to me, and love on me. Go figure huh?

I walked out that day realizing that I was a walking empty vessel and I needed an emergency overhaul. My new mantra became, “Fill me Lord, and help me to keep it for myself.” I needed a fresh baptism of Holy Spirit; a holy recharge. I had forgotten one of the most important things when it comes to being Spirit filled. I forgot to take care of my own needs first. It’s alright to do that, you know?

My mantra continued for awhile as I allowed God to fill me once more.  My prayer language began spouting out softly to the throne of God as He continued to send more of the spiritual river to bathe me from the inside out. Being in God’s presence is a spiritual recharge we can never ever deny ourselves. It’s so easy to forget that Jesus personally died for us as individuals as we serve Him. He cares for our needs, always.

From then on I began to remind myself that I come first in Him or nothing happens at all accept I become drained. Jesus never called us to be a sacrifice. He already did that for us all. He called us to service, to love, to give of our reserve. If there is no well, then there is nothing left to give.

Today I pray your well to be filled and for you to take time to allow God to fill your vessel.

Father, pour out a holy baptism of Your Spirit and fill each person to overflowing. Remind us all that we are first in Your book, the apple of Your eye, and the one that Jesus felt we were worth dying for. I ask for each reader to receive “more” than even expected. There is no such thing as an overdose of Holy Spirit!

Learning to Live Again After Abuse: Emotional Release and Deliverance

downloadRomans 6:4

“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

In days gone by I remember a morning I woke up and wondered, “How in the world did I get here, and even more important, how do I get out?” Life had come to a point where every single day was a strain being married to someone who oppressed, never had a good thing to say about me or to me, and controlled literally everything through intimidation. He was an addictive person, a narcissist, and showed sociopath tendencies. Life was hell on earth. As the years went by, I had five beautiful children, who were always the light of my life. It wasn’t easy, doing the cycle of abuse dance while making sure the kids had what they needed. (Before you ask me why I had kids with this man, please become more knowledgeable about the abuse cycle. People put their best foot forward in the beginning of a relationship, especially a narcissist. Life could be like a bed of roses for a period of time and then suddenly change in a heartbeat. As time goes on a person develops what psychology calls “learned helplessness”. Its like a slow indoctrination into someone else’s agenda. We have no idea what is happening until it is too late).

I’m thankful that God is gracious, a delivering God, and one who is intimately involved in our lives. I did receive deliverance out of that situation but the healing part of it was only just beginning. How does one erase years and years of character assassination, demeaning comments, threatening proclamations, and a life of fear and anxiety? The physical release was even harder because an abused person goes into the world and everything seems difficult and fearful. Its like the abuse robs us of our ability to function the way we did before the relationship. Everyone around becomes suspect and a possible threat to our livelihood. So, in the beginning we travel a lot of it alone, not trusting a single soul to help us survive.

The better part is that I personally had to learn how to lean on God for all I needed. I struggled, but I also saw some life changing miracles during those times. His protection is uncompromising and His love beyond anything a person could measure. It was during those days that I found Him and He was always in our midst. The longer and harder part of the freedom journey was the healing of the heart and renewing of the mind. I learned that it takes work and a lot of faith and consistency. It takes desire. A person has to want to be healed and free for it to happen. I was free on the outside, but the inside was just as captive as when I was in the marriage. Then it takes deliverance. Being in the presence of my Savior has always been the regenerating, healing, and strengthening process that brought the freedom I required to pull my life together.

The process has to be this way. I learned there are no shortcuts. One could go and receive deliverance ministry all day long but if the inner wounds are not dealt with first than deliverance is futile and the effects are temporary. The dark side of life will always attach itself to our inner wounds because that is where we are the most weak and can be rendered ineffective and incapacitated. Healing the inside first is critical for full freedom and deliverance from the effects of abuse. Like Pastor Paula White has always said, “You can’t correct what you don’t confront.” Then once that process is complete, the dark forces in life are weakened and can be cast away in the presence of Jesus and with His authority.

This can certainly be done on one’s own, but I don’t recommend it. A process of talking, praying, and releasing  is the first thing I recommend for a full and complete deliverance. Otherwise the old attacks keep coming back to make life miserable. Like I said, it takes work and preferably  with someone who knows how to get you where you want to be; delivered and free!

The next phase is the spiritual deliverance part. This can also be very intense but extremely effective. Believe me, when it is done right, there is nothing like a spiritual deliverance from the  enemy who bound you in the first place. He wants to keep you bound, but there is no match for Jesus’ power! A good deliverance minister who has been there is the best choice to facilitate this part of the process. You could go to God yourself but there is more power when two gather together in the midst of Holy Spirit. Not to mention there is protection and strength together.

The final part of the process is commitment to renewing your mind through the Word of God. For me personally, I had years of reprogramming to do and still need to do that work on a regular basis and as an ongoing lifestyle. Remaining in God’s presence is crucial in this part of the process as well.

It can seem like a long road to recovery but it is one that has been well worth it for me and it will for you too! If you have been affected by another person’s abuse, consider emotional healing and deliverance ministry. God wants you free even more than you desire it yourself. He is waiting for you to want to receive this healing work. Jesus died for your liberty! That is good news! You have a future and a hope just as I have always had. God has been faithful through my whole journey and He will for you too!

If you need emotional healing and deliverance help from the affects of someone else’s abuse, please consider connecting with me! If not me, than please consider someone who is recommended and gifted for this type of work. There is no reason to live bound! You will have no idea just how much holds you back until you start the process. Liberty is complete in Jesus Christ!  Remember that you were buried with Christ through baptism and faith. Now you are also raised with Him and sit in high places as you place your trust in Him!

As for my services and Pastoral Care, Emotional and Deliverance Ministry, they are free to those who need them. I only ask for a donation toward my time if that is possible. God’s gift of freedom is just that; a gift. Yet, He also wants to make sure I receive what I need to survive as a minister and a Pastor.

I do not provide this work as a replacement for the local church, but I in fact, stand beside “her”, working toward a more healthy, whole, and liberated Body of Christ! It can be intense work, but it is always worth it! —

If you would like more information, please call me at 800-421-1765. It takes someone who knows the bumpy road to guide others toward the streets of gold!

Here’s to freedom!
