Empath: Embrace Yourself

All of my life I knew that things “felt” different for me. I could not really place my finger on it as a little girl, but let’s just say I knew who would protect me and who could be my nightmare. It was so much more than this though. A very shy little girl, I never could understand people the way that others did. It’s like I deeply could see into them and interacted with very few of my school mates. It hurt a lot when others disliked me and I never knew why I took things so hard. I felt like I was born into a time I never belonged in. By age 12 I felt like I should have been 20.

This went far beyond growing up too fast. Back then, we still played with dolls at age 12. I knew things bothered me that happened in the world. I felt injustice and often felt others were unjust toward me. All I knew to do was to find my place within the hands and the heart of God. As I grew older empathy evolved into what I thought were sugar drops. Suddenly I would just start shaking so I would stuff myself with food and over a few moments I felt better. Yet this was not the real case. I definitely was having an experience but they were never sugar drops. As I look back I now know I was being overstimulated. My so called sugar drops always happened when I was either stressed, in traffic, or crowded, loud, or confused situations.

There is even more than this though. I “knew” and “know” the insides of people. It is not a mind reading issue, it is more like a feeling issue. I know people by how their energy feels, what their insides are like and what they transmit to the world. To some, this is creepy, or maybe even crazy sounding. If it were not an experience I have learned I share with so many, I would think those things myself. I also often know when individuals are lying to me, being fake, or not exactly genuine. I don’t always say something. I like to think God takes care of those things.

In Christianity, it might be called discerning of spirits. Yet, it goes far beyond that too. I often know a persons past, their emotions and where they are out of balance. When I began studying Reiki to become a Master Healer and Instructor I realized I could see the energy centers inside another person’s body. I also realized I don’t have to be in front of them to know. I can just be on the phone with them. I see the colors of the chakra system. I know what is bleeding out of them in energy drains and where more attention should be done on certain areas of their emotional and physical health. This is very different than a medical intuitive, although there is a large degree of intuitive information that comes through to me.

I feel the vibration of a persons body and the energy that omits into the aura field of their physical system. Before any of you start to think this is not of God or not Christian, please consider that good things are never given through evil means. Doing good only comes from God and can be created by God. I had to reconcile that all with myself over time. There were moments in the past I felt ashamed of myself for knowing the things I know. There were also times others tried to create shame in me by saying what I know or how I am gifted is not Godly.

I know its a bit unconventional but I have to go back to the time Jesus was accused by religious law leaders of casting out demons by being associated with the devil. Why would the devil cast out himself? Interesting question to ponder. So why would any gift given by God for healing and understanding be associated with being ungodly?

Empathy comes in a lot of different forms and can be gifted in many different ways. For me it manifests as a feeling, with intuitive associations with others, and with myself. Feeling is the key word here. Empaths FEEL everything. We often try to shut it down because it does become overwhelming. Often the feelings surface as anxiety, depression, headaches, over stimulation, panic attacks, energy drain, and sometimes even adrenal fatigue.  We are often seen as overly sensitive, very emotional, and a bit analytical. We not only feel sad things strongly but also feel joy even more abundantly. Now that is a huge plus!

Empath: Embrace Yourself

If you find yourself feeling no one understands you because the depth of you can’t help but see more into people. Or if you are easily overstimulated, get emotionally hurt more easy, are called too sensitive, have emotions that go over the top when others seem to maintain. If you often think others seem cold and uncaring. If you know things about people that others don’t seem to know. Or if you struggle with anxiety, panic, crowds bother you, or too much noise becomes overwhelming, you could very well be an empath. Are you tired around overbearing people, and do you have to go and space out into nature, sleep when others might not, have deep and often vivid dreams?

Consider all of the things above and maybe even some of your own. More than this, please embrace who you are! This world needs you. We need more compassion, empathy and healing. We need the gifts that God gives to us in order to help each other heal. In a world that can often leave us cold, can feel unhealthy or cruel, we need those who are willing to step up to the plate and embrace all they are. Remember, we are One. We all experience each other in different ways.

If you need to know about empathy give it a good google search. There is a lot of information about it. If you need to understand why your body feels out of sorts, maybe you need an intuitive empath to help you balance and sort things out. Help is always there when you ask for it. Ask and you shall receive, knock and the door will be open to you!

I’m Here During Difficult Times…

cropped-36897146_10156789152789255_3150814499703881728_n

It’s almost like we were stalked and pounced upon. Suddenly the coronavirus came on the scene and thousands of people started to become ill. (Are you tired of hearing the word coronavirus yet?) I heard today this week things are expected to worsen before they get better. I know it is not something any of us really want to hear. I try to keep my sense of balance and sense of humor. I’m sure you are all doing the same!

As things become challenging I want to remind you all that I am here! The amazing thing is I can already talk to you via phone and offer my services like I always have, but this time I am taking $20 off my usual hourly fee for spiritual directional counseling. This also includes practical guidance too! I have found we can’t divide one part of us from the other. We are always body, mind, spirit.

For the next 4 weeks from today my services will be discounted as a way to do my part in the efforts to give comfort, guidance, and relief from stress during these very unusual times. (Being out of work is a stress in and of itself!) I can address most things in life, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me and pass me along ! Blessings for your good health and well being!

As always I am loving you from here,

Weekly Wisdom: Learn the Value of Relationships

In our own section of this world we have relationships with different people and in different ways. Some are acquaintances, family, some life partners, some deep friendships, and some are just passing through. They all have value in learning about them and also about ourselves. The people we attract into our lives are those who teach us the most about ourselves inside and out. Sometimes they test us. Sometimes they help us to become better and more aware beings.

People speak to us how they value or do not value us as well. We can tell by the quality of time they spend with us. Notice how I did not say amount of time, but quality. We can spend very little time with someone and be deeply loved and involved with them. It’s all about heart connection and how deep we decide to go soulfully and expressively.

This coming week, take a look around you. Determine the place each valuable person has in your life. Ask for wisdom as to what that person is helping you to see about not just them, but yourself. Relationships help us evolve. Sometimes they hinder us and sometimes they help us move forward. It is up to us as to which of these someone is doing. If they are hindering, it is their issue to work on. Don’t mix up their issue with your own. Either you are in their life to give them a hand up or they are there to teach you not to stay stagnant in a place where you are not productive. Move onward!

Some relationships expand us. They are there to help us see our God given potential and they always want the best for us. Regardless of where they are in life, they are always moving us forward, encouraging us to be more, do more, expand more. These are treasures; earth angels, and blessings who have been planted there for our evolution and to achieve excellence. Hang around and soak up their wisdom!

Some are continual heart companions. Whether close in proximity or far away, they are those who have your heart in mind and share with you theirs. They are there in your life to help you process your own frustrations and grow in love and acceptance. They spark your creativity, help create inspiration, and allow you to be yourself in good times and in not so good times.

Consider your relationships this week, and determine what each one means to you and why they are there. Think along the lines of your inner growth, healing, or expansion. Journal if need be. Getting clarity on life helps to move forward in it.

Weekly Wisdom: Your Dreams Can Have Insights

close up photography of woman sleeping
Photo by bruce mars on Pexels.com

Part of my doctoral study was interpretation of dreams. These mystical imaginings are much more important than you might realize. Did you know, if you don’t go into dream state, you can mentally break down? According to scientific research, its true! Dreams are THAT important. Also, they can reveal mystical insights into your life.

This week, pay attention to your dreams. Ask God to unlock the mysteries they hold for your life. Sometimes they present things you might not want to deal with. Ask for strength and wisdom to deal with your inner issues. Deep work, creates big results. If something is a part of you as a being, God made it so! Don’t forsake what messages your dreams might have for you. Write them down even if they don’t make sense. Insights will come when you least expect them to!

Staying In Integrity While Dealing With Narcissistic People

adult anger art black background

One of the more difficult people to deal with in relationship are those who are narcissists. For some reason this has become a buzz phrase to attach to anyone who seems to be “in to themselves”, but a true narcissist is more than just a cliche. A narcissist can spin someone’s head around so fast it happens before they know what hit them. One of the traits a narcissist will use on their victim is to not stay in integrity with what they have done or said. Basically this means they will say something one moment and then later, or even in the next five minutes contradict what they said or even deny saying it.

This is enough to make anyone frustrated and upset. So, if you are one who deals with this now, don’t despair even if you are reacting in harsh ways. You are trying to make sense of something that does not make sense and you are standing up for your self preservation.

The Bible says that a “double minded man is unstable in all of his ways.” When someone flip flops between their words that is called being double minded. That person is the one who is unstable, not YOU. You can become unstable through the interaction, which is the point of this post. I want to feed some mantras into you.

Affirm this:

“I know what I know and I know what I heard.”

“I matter and my thoughts, ideas, feelings, and opinions matter.”

“I will stay in integrity with myself even when others around me are not.”

“I will be true to who I am and what I know to be true about me.”

“I will not blame myself for others actions but will only take responsibility for my responses to them.”

” I will seek peace with myself and live in that peace even when there is chaos around me.”

“I will confide in someone I trust and ask for help when life becomes too hard to bare.”

You might come up with some of your own. After having had lived with a narcissist before, I know the trauma that can be taken on by someone else’s lack of balance and inconsistency. Narcissistic abuse can be emotional, mental, and sometimes physical. It causes what is termed a “trauma bond” which alters brain chemistry. Most of the time the trauma bond begins in childhood with those who interact with us and around us. The relationship to an out of balance person becomes our “normal” and so that is all we understand until we experience better.

Keeping in your own integrity will keep you in balance. Stay true to who you are and what you want in life. Have trust in God and trust in the love He made you from. Let God guide you through the storms of life. Listen carefully for that guidance and stick to what you know and understand about someone. People teach you who they are in the beginning. Always believe them….

Seeking the Unseen

Human beings have a fascination with the unseen spirit world. We love to speculate on things that go bump in the night. Some like to flat out hunt down AllTruth-570x318the unseen such as ghost hunters in hope to reveal some glimpse of the afterlife. We seek out angel sightings, and talk to the air in hope our loved ones are hearing our voice. Even more, we want to hear back or have some sort of witness that they are still with us. It brings us comfort. I get it. I lost my son and my heart always wants to believe he hears me and tries to show me that he does. Its a comfort thing. I know that God honors this and intervenes for me so I can be comforted through His Spirit. He loves to give glimpses of the spiritual world around us.

Humans are completely intrigued by the unseen world. I don’t doubt there are mysteries that we have yet to uncover. If certain things bring us comfort than why not explore, right?  We need that comfort but we need to be careful of where we explore.

God loves for us to seek and find those mysterious things, but He loves for us to seek them in Him. He actually gets pretty feisty about us seeking other things above him such as through angel channels and mediums. In fact, He tells us exactly how He feels about it.

“Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God”. (Leviticus 19:31)

“Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind”.(Colossians 2:18)

People love to feel enlightened and love to “teach” what they believe they have seen. They have not always seen the truth, even though it might look good on the outside.

God gives to us the proper way to seek the unseen. It is through seeking Him. He is really quite jealous about His people and who they go to. This is His protectiveness over us. He wants us to know the truth and not be guided by a false presentation of the truth. It comes from His love for us and His great desire for us to have a good life. He wants us to know Him. God seeks relationship and He will not share one with any other spiritual entity. He created them, yes, but He does not want us to place our main focus on them. He never wants us to be guided by them.

When we seek the unseen through God’s Holy Spirit He gives to us the real truth about life, Himself, the spirit world, and how we can live victoriously through Christ.

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (John 16:13)

In seeking God directly He shows us that Christ lives and dwells inside of us. When we have accepted this truth, and that He died for us, we have the key to all mysteries.

“… the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. 27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”. (Colossians 1: 26-27).

The Spirit of Truth can not lie, but other spirits unknown to us can. We can be so misguided. Angels can be wonderful heavenly messengers but true angels  are commanded by God Himself to interact with the world, we do not command them. Also, Satan presents himself as an “angel of light” and a person can be so misguided and deceived.

I have personally heard of, and have witnessed, those who have sought out angels and were guided by demons and evil forces. It’s a very subtle process. It might seem good in the beginning but it can lead to dangerous connections if we are not using God’s discernment.

As an investigative type person, I love to find what is true. I love to be guided by what is true, not a falsehood. Detectives and seekers look for the real answers. We receive those from God. He will show us the way He cares for us and He will lead us into all mysteries.

Wouldn’t you rather be guided by truth than take the risk of being misled by an entity who could lead you away from real eternal life? Would you want to lead your loved ones into something that might be demonic instead of angelic? We love the thrill of discovery and I am sure sometimes God gives us examples of the afterlife. Even angels walked on the earth in Biblical times, but they were sent by God, not conjured up by people. Angels and spiritual messengers are real, but as I said, they are sent by God and not people. God is very plain in His words when He tells us to not worship angels nor believe mediums.

We have been gifted so beautifully by our creator with wonderful intuitive abilities of our own and we have access to amazing spiritual wisdom for our lives. Why on earth would we want to consult the dead for answers when the God of all life has them all? He specifically tells us to not go to mediums for answers because the information we receive might even appear true but the danger is being led from the One true spiritual source that can guide us better than any other. He knows us. He made us. He loves us. He will teach us well.

Today I pray that as you seek all mysteries and spiritual things, that you will go to the One who truly can show you how to be guided in your life. He will never lead you astray!

Dear Holy Father, open the spiritual eyes of all seekers and help them to see You in all of Your glory. Forgive those who have been blinded and lead them in the right direction. Reveal to them Your heart and show the power of Your love in their lives, in Jesus’ name and heart, amen!
