Even the shyest person is more transparent than they think. We pick up more about people than we realize. It is hard to conceal everything, although we often think we are. Our actions speak much louder than words. Also, we pick up on people’s subtle stories much more than we realize. We are transparent, just like clear tape. We think we hide the sticky parts, but honestly, we never hide a thing.
We are like radio waves that broadcast across the airway every moment. Those waves of energy have thought attached to them. Ever wonder how some people seem to be intuitive? Often, they are reading the cosmic waves that we all put out. Before you think this is way too strange to keep reading, think about it a bit more.
If we all emit energy from our bodies and we all attract energy toward us, then we also emit and attract all that goes with it, including thought. Thoughts create. They do this by sending out waves on a frequency that ends up attracting the same. In some cases, the frequencies attract a Karmic situation either to bless us or teach us.
I have said it before, and I will repeat it. Nothing is ever hidden. We send out our feelings and things we wish no one could know, out into the atmosphere daily. I giggle a bit when I think of the Bible verse, “Be sure your sin will find you out.” Everything finds you out. In other words, things are revealed from you and to you.
I like the idea of knowing things that most believe we do not know. We can be distracted sometimes and miss things but if we fine tune our awareness there is not much that can be hidden either by us or from us. More than that, nothing is hidden from God, our Creator, the Universe, or any way you choose to think about it.
Sometimes if things are not revealed our life situations will reveal them. We attract these things toward us by our actions. On one side of the spectrum I think this is very cool. On another side it can be disturbing. I used to know people who found out things by tapping the phone, or someone’s computer. Silly people! Look at life around you, foster your awareness, meditate and pray. You will discover we all can tap into the divine that is within us all!

When something is concealed, it is hidden from human exposure. Concealing occurs to keep others from knowing something, either for our protection or for someone else’s destruction. Weapons are not always material. Sometimes they are hidden truths about ourselves we don’t want to expose. Often for our perceived protection, these also can bring just as much destruction once they are revealed.
When a person conceals things from others around them, they are not hiding anything. Every single item is exposed eventually. The fallout is hard, depending upon how long it was concealed. I know how much this hurts others. I’ve had things hidden from me. When they were discovered, the pain of the revelation was so much worse than the original issue.
Deeds concealed, justified by our inner thinking, can be worse than a real weapon because the fallout will kill the inner being of another person. When a wrong deed is done to someone, it hurts. When it is concealed and exposed, it kills. Let me explain. We all have soul scars and boundaries. Soul scars are not so great. They are covered over wounds that are also concealed, but often even to ourselves. When a concealed deed hits the soul scar of another person, the result is the opening of the wound. This makes the exposed act worse than a real shot in the stomach. It bleeds out all of the inner injuries from before and multiplies the effect of what was revealed.
Humans can’t stand exposure. It reveals something terrible about their character. Even worse, they blame the very person they hurt because they often don’t want to take responsibility. This is a “garden of Eden” situation. Adam and Eve concealed the weapon they disobeyed God. Once revealed, the painful part of the exposure was so much worse than if they had just been honest about it. They suffered the consequences for many generations over and over.
Yet, God covered them. This does not mean God made it alright to conceal things. They suffered greatly. They were forgiven, but the fallout from their concealed weapon was more than they bargained for. Adam had to toil and work hard for a living that God had previously gifted to him. Eve had to have painful childbirth women still experience today. Childbirth is a joyful experience, but like everything else that is birthing, it comes with pain and sorrow.
This is the fallout of the concealed weapon. Information is discovered about it, and the bullet causes pain for years to follow. What is even worse, we often don’t take responsibility for our own things we purposefully hide. We tend to justify as to why it is right. Believe me; it is never right. Concealed weapons will even bite its owner. Remember the snake in the garden of Eden story? The snake struck the heel of humans. It’s a snake bite that can hurt for a long time. The good news is the snake was also stomped upon. Although the pain of the bite was present, the victory is in the truth.
Symbolically Adams’ crushing of the snakes head stands for victory when truth wins out. This only comes from the love of God when covering happens. Don’t mistake covering for concealing. Every deed is exposed in the light of God. Covering occurs when, after exposure, repentance and forgiveness occurs. God will never help us hide our weapons. God’s desire is for us to walk uprightly and free. We can not be open when we conceal our guns. If we think so, we are kidding ourselves. The only way to freedom is through exposure.
First we have to face our own inner concealed weapons. Then expose them through speaking the truth about them. Repent, be sorry for hiding things from others that we know would hurt them if they knew. Then take the discipline and the lesson that comes from concealing and hiding something. It might be hard to take, but its better than God exposing it for us later. Sometimes we are unwilling to face our own demons, so to speak. It’s much better than God’s light shining upon them for everyone to see. Don’t allow concealed weapons to kill others and yourself. Take the fallout now and confess your gun. It is so much easier now than allowing God to pull it out and shine a light upon it.
I remember this in a previous relationship. God exposed infidelity. The wound for me was crushing, but the exposure for the other was so much worse than anything I might have felt. It was exposed openly for everyone to see. Do you want this for yourself or others? Maybe its time to pull out our weapons and lay them down at the feet of the One who knows it all anyway. Even more, expose it before it gets told for you. This is done out of love. It might not seem like it, but it is. God never wants His creation to have to carry such a heavy responsibility. It takes a lot of heavy lifting to keep those weapons concealed. One will build upon another. Confess it all, and deal with what you need to deal with. In the long run, your life will be so much lighter!
Everyone, I mean everyone, has emotional baggage from something somewhere. We are born into this world with innocence, and on the way, we absorb what comes from our families, society, friends, and circumstances we find ourselves in. Some things might be beyond our control, and others we brought on ourselves. We tend to live and act out of the junk the accumulates inside of us.
The first thing we all tend to do is blame. Humans are so good at the blame game. “My ex-wife/husband treated me poorly,” “My parents were not good parents,” “I was abused and raped as a teen.” Whereas these things are traumatic and can be quite horrible, we don’t need to live in a reflection of them.
One of the other things we tend to do besides blame is numb the feelings that spawn out of the issues. We become addicted to substances, material things, bad relationships, food, individual behaviors, hiding our emotions, and put ourselves down.
Life does not have to be this way. Our primary responsibility to ourselves is to excavate past the junk we pick up along the way, deal with it, throw it out, and find the true essence of who we really are.
Our divine nature is one of love and light. We were created to shine out of those elements. The other sludge we pick up along the way only serves to dim the brilliance of who we really are. The spark of fire we carry comes from all of the elements we find around us. Our bodies function and are made of air, water, and elemental nutrients that are also found in the earth.
The soul body carries the spark of our Creator. We are love, laughter, joy, patience, kindness, strength, and creativity. From within each of us is the capacity to manifest greatness. We carry within us the temple of God. All together, we create an image of the divine. True divinity is humble in nature, never puffed up nor prideful. We are creators in our own right and should be created out of the foundation God made us from.
Our responsibility to ourselves and others is to clear the clutter, unpack the baggage, and shine the way we are meant to shine! Nothing is stopping any one of us, accept ourselves. We get in our manner. Humans tend to love and protect the wrong things. We think we have to hide our insecurities, our hurts, and our soul scars. So we watch them instead of releasing them.
Under all of the clutter, all of us are free. We think and even believe our freedom comes from the outside and the conditions we live in. Not so. Our freedom comes from unpacking the baggage we have locked inside of us for so long, and becoming the true nature of who God created us to be. Together, with God and each other, we rise!
Most of society just does not get this yet. So we see people living in a constant state of trying to shift the outside of themselves. The human race is not going to evolve out of the bitterness, disharmony, agenda pushing, and blaming, everyone seems to be accustomed to. We rise from beginning with ourselves.
Today, do yourself the most outstanding service you could ever do. Unpack the baggage and choose to live from the light of our Creator, live from the inside out. Be the peace you want to see in this world, and suddenly you will see peace everywhere you go! We are who we believe ourselves to be. What if every person decided to unpack their baggage, stop blaming, and started shining?
Our bodies are amazing creations. God sure knew what He was doing when He created us! We are so equipped to handle the most difficult situations. When our physical bodies are wounded, everything in our bodies will go to the rescue like a knight in shining armor. Blood and cells rush to the scene of any wound and will clot the area to keep us from bleeding out. Later a scar forms over the wound. The greater the wound the deeper and thicker the scar.
Our soul goes through the same type of situation when we are hurt or emotionally wounded. Only we are the ones who go to the rescue and cover the wound with our smiles, coverings, and dealing with every day life. Unfortunately we leave the wound and scar inside of us. This effects us every day of our lives. Our emotional wounds will even affect our energy centers, physical capabilities, physical health, and block us spiritually. Do you see how important it is to deal with our wounds? Time to get real and truthful with ourselves so we can heal. This way we stop the lack in our lives from the wound and we stop spilling out over others because of it.
Inner wounds also keep us from growing up inside. It does not matter what age we are, we act immature when the scars are there and not dealt with. The Light of God can illuminate our wounds through revelation when we seek to find out what they are and ask how we can deal with them. Only exposure can open up the scar, release the wound and allow us to heal, grow, and move on to more productive lives. Here is a video explaining some of the process. There are many ways we can deal with soul scars but going to God is a great start in the process! Enjoy and be well!

“A well healed life is a life well lived” Dr Jenine Marie
The silence of the morning hours are the most precious moments I spend. It’s the time when I pray and meditate with God to connect with the pulse of creation and wisdom. In that silence this morning the message I heard was how powerful a person is while being a compassionate listener. To truly hear the heart of another with no condemnation or judgement is to be the greatest gift to this world.
Compassionate listening is to be silent while someone else speaks and truly hear the heart of that person. This is true of groups of people as well. We don’t have to agree to listen and hear. We don’t need to judge or even come to a conclusion, expression, or solution. Sometimes people just need to have someone listen and to be heard. When we listen to understand we become an ambassador who connects hearts instead of repelling them.
The greatest honor is to be trusted with the thoughts, ideas, and feelings of another. The greatest gift is to listen without judgement. It is in that context, in that moment, we become the greatest ambassador of love ever.
There are few words I feel I can come up with to describe this era of coronavirus we are going through in our nation and our world. This afternoon I sat and stared out the window in disbelief about how things seemed to escalate so quickly. If I focus on the statistics and the breaking news I hear daily; my heart melts into my stomach. Yet, if I shift my focus on what I am looking at right now, my whole demeanor shifts.
Right out the window, life seems just as it always has been. The trees are blowing in the wind, cars are going by, and I see a squirrel running along the walkway. In this very now moment, life is alright. This moment is the one we live in, or we should. For some of us, our tomorrows can be counted by God on the one hand, and our fingers can represent other decades. No matter what category we are in, this very now moment is precisely the same.
With a deep sigh, I can take in a good long breath and let it out. Everything is just fine, right now. In the past, when things got hard in life, I used to toss and turn all night long, wondering how I was going to work things out. One night, I figured out my moment is the same, regardless of how tomorrow pans out. There is such power living in the moment we call now. I used to think to myself, “Right now, everything is alright,” and then go to sleep.
It is alright. Yes, we plan for the future, but no one can know it all. Just for now, I think I will close my eyes and remember moments that felt just like this. The trees were blowing in the breeze, through my hair, and across my face. The birds were nesting, flying, and seeking out food. These things are always here and forever a comfort.
In this world, we will have labor. In the Bible, they were/are assigned. Men labor to care for their mates and families. Women work to have children and then raise them in faith. Some of those roles have changed over the years as we changed as humans. Right now, I think I will take refuge in the things that never change. They are the love of God, the simplicity of creation, and the promise of better tomorrows.
Lemons are amazing fruits. Detoxing daily with them can bring very good results for your body. Just some warm water or tea with fresh squeezed lemon can help your digestion, aid in preventing kidney stones and even help lose weight.
I watched myself squeeze a lemon into a glass of warm water one day and all of the life sustaining pulp and juices that started to flow out of the fruit. I even have a lemon squeezer that helps in this process. Since I seem to get messages out of life’s experiences this was no exception. I thought to myself, “Sometimes it feels like there have been people who have just squeezed the life out of me.”
Just like the lemon, when this happens, the life sustaining juices seem to get dumped into a place we don’t want life to take us. It’s so easy to become bitter as the lemon tastes. Yet, lemons do have a degree of sweetness to them as well. When toxic people cause a squeeze on our lives it’s important to remember that sweetness still resides in the waters. Life can feel bitter and distasteful sometimes.
Back away from all toxic experiences that feel like a huge lemon squeeze. Let sweetness still abide in the inner places of your being and even the sourness will become helpful to you in the days to come. We all need sour experiences to allow us to see where there is sourness inside of us. We can deal with it without having the life squeezed out of us.
In life’s big bowl of fruit you are the best lemons ever created. We all carry sweetness and sourness within us. The challenge is to process the sour parts before life sends us a lemon squeezer in the form of another person to do that work for us. Think about this very carefully. Karma is there to teach you. God will teach you. If you listen and heed the warnings before the lemon press is sent to give you more than a little squeeze.
All of my life I knew that things “felt” different for me. I could not really place my finger on it as a little girl, but let’s just say I knew who would protect me and who could be my nightmare. It was so much more than this though. A very shy little girl, I never could understand people the way that others did. It’s like I deeply could see into them and interacted with very few of my school mates. It hurt a lot when others disliked me and I never knew why I took things so hard. I felt like I was born into a time I never belonged in. By age 12 I felt like I should have been 20.
This went far beyond growing up too fast. Back then, we still played with dolls at age 12. I knew things bothered me that happened in the world. I felt injustice and often felt others were unjust toward me. All I knew to do was to find my place within the hands and the heart of God. As I grew older empathy evolved into what I thought were sugar drops. Suddenly I would just start shaking so I would stuff myself with food and over a few moments I felt better. Yet this was not the real case. I definitely was having an experience but they were never sugar drops. As I look back I now know I was being overstimulated. My so called sugar drops always happened when I was either stressed, in traffic, or crowded, loud, or confused situations.
There is even more than this though. I “knew” and “know” the insides of people. It is not a mind reading issue, it is more like a feeling issue. I know people by how their energy feels, what their insides are like and what they transmit to the world. To some, this is creepy, or maybe even crazy sounding. If it were not an experience I have learned I share with so many, I would think those things myself. I also often know when individuals are lying to me, being fake, or not exactly genuine. I don’t always say something. I like to think God takes care of those things.
In Christianity, it might be called discerning of spirits. Yet, it goes far beyond that too. I often know a persons past, their emotions and where they are out of balance. When I began studying Reiki to become a Master Healer and Instructor I realized I could see the energy centers inside another person’s body. I also realized I don’t have to be in front of them to know. I can just be on the phone with them. I see the colors of the chakra system. I know what is bleeding out of them in energy drains and where more attention should be done on certain areas of their emotional and physical health. This is very different than a medical intuitive, although there is a large degree of intuitive information that comes through to me.
I feel the vibration of a persons body and the energy that omits into the aura field of their physical system. Before any of you start to think this is not of God or not Christian, please consider that good things are never given through evil means. Doing good only comes from God and can be created by God. I had to reconcile that all with myself over time. There were moments in the past I felt ashamed of myself for knowing the things I know. There were also times others tried to create shame in me by saying what I know or how I am gifted is not Godly.
I know its a bit unconventional but I have to go back to the time Jesus was accused by religious law leaders of casting out demons by being associated with the devil. Why would the devil cast out himself? Interesting question to ponder. So why would any gift given by God for healing and understanding be associated with being ungodly?
Empathy comes in a lot of different forms and can be gifted in many different ways. For me it manifests as a feeling, with intuitive associations with others, and with myself. Feeling is the key word here. Empaths FEEL everything. We often try to shut it down because it does become overwhelming. Often the feelings surface as anxiety, depression, headaches, over stimulation, panic attacks, energy drain, and sometimes even adrenal fatigue. We are often seen as overly sensitive, very emotional, and a bit analytical. We not only feel sad things strongly but also feel joy even more abundantly. Now that is a huge plus!
Empath: Embrace Yourself
If you find yourself feeling no one understands you because the depth of you can’t help but see more into people. Or if you are easily overstimulated, get emotionally hurt more easy, are called too sensitive, have emotions that go over the top when others seem to maintain. If you often think others seem cold and uncaring. If you know things about people that others don’t seem to know. Or if you struggle with anxiety, panic, crowds bother you, or too much noise becomes overwhelming, you could very well be an empath. Are you tired around overbearing people, and do you have to go and space out into nature, sleep when others might not, have deep and often vivid dreams?
Consider all of the things above and maybe even some of your own. More than this, please embrace who you are! This world needs you. We need more compassion, empathy and healing. We need the gifts that God gives to us in order to help each other heal. In a world that can often leave us cold, can feel unhealthy or cruel, we need those who are willing to step up to the plate and embrace all they are. Remember, we are One. We all experience each other in different ways.
If you need to know about empathy give it a good google search. There is a lot of information about it. If you need to understand why your body feels out of sorts, maybe you need an intuitive empath to help you balance and sort things out. Help is always there when you ask for it. Ask and you shall receive, knock and the door will be open to you!
Loving you from here,
Dr Jenine Marie Howry, PhD
Book a phone session or video chat session to find out more about empathy or to receive some intuitive guidance about your emotions, life and body!
This is certainly a time in history where it almost feels like the earth is birthing. Seems we have been in labor for a very long time now. We have seen wars come and go, trends cycle and come back, and technology expound into things we never dreamed of in days that have passed. Some call it the end times, others a time of new beginnings. I suppose we all see it through the eyes of our own beliefs and perspectives.
The Bible tells us there is a time for all things under heaven. Through my eyes its a time of joy and a time of weeping. Some things are hard to watch and others are joyous and loving. I’m not sure they are both balanced equally. Maybe only God knows that equation.
I do know things are changing. We are changing. Our hope is we change in a good way. Maybe we can heal wounds, uplift our faith, listen more, and have more empathy. Our hearts all ache and rejoice at the same time. Change and labor is always hard. Usually it all comes with a lot of wounded emotions and tears. We do have hope though! Joy always comes after the hardest parts. I know I felt that joy when my babies came out of me and I held them the first time in my life. Maybe we will get that joy from God as He holds us closely after the hard part is over?
For now we see violence and destruction, but also deep conversations and understanding. It’s hard not to be angry when labor becomes more than we think we can bear. Since the promise to us from God is we will never be given more than we can bear, then we know we will make it. I know our tears are a watering place where healing and love can begin where it has been lacking.
When the season gets to be more than we wish it ever was, remember that this too shall pass. All things pass; this is no different. Our season is just that; seasoning brings flavor to things that are bland and in need of work. If we do the work, we will have the reward.
One of the hardest things to do is get moving again once good habits have been let go of. There are always those defeating thoughts that go through our minds, like, “When I get enough money I will buy some new exercise equipment and then I will get into shape.” Or maybe this excuse hits home, “I’m not feeling well today. I need an indulgent treat to get through this emotional time. I will get more healthy tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, next decade…” Meanwhile, life is passing by, time is going faster than we realize, and before we know it we feel lost.
I’ve seen this a million times in others and myself. It makes no difference what the goal is, the excuse seems bigger. The only thing that has to change to make a goal a reality is to make the goal bigger and more in focus. Whatever we focus upon always comes closer to us. We see this in daily synchronicities all of the time. If our thoughts are on dragonflies, suddenly we see them everywhere. When our thoughts focus on the main goal we want to achieve; the answers, the incentive, and the victories are displayed everywhere.
We live in a universe that has been set up by God to be supportive and it always is as faithful as its massive Creator. Focus on self love and more self love comes to you. It’s no accident, it always works. What really hits things out of the ballpark is to BE what you are in desire of manifesting and you will see your victory in front of you all of the time until it becomes a reality. Feel and see your goals with every part of your being and you will draw to you the most amazing help and victories you ever have witnessed.
Sometimes it takes a small crawl before hitting the highway to do a long jog. Sometimes we have to be willing to start at the beginning before we can ever see the end. The main thing is to begin. When you do, you will see, you will have more encouragement you ever have witnessed to get you right where you want to be.
Think of something you want to manifest more than anything else on earth. Keep that image around you all of the time. Write down the pathway you want to take and then add photos to encourage you on the way. Feel the result with every part of you. Be the result and you will have your dreams and victories. Don’t allow trials or setbacks to discourage you. Get back up, get on the road, and make that victory yours!
